Elevate Kitchen Decor With A Dollar Tree Cutting Board DIY

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly way to decorate your kitchen, TikTok user @Belindsasdiys demonstrates an easy way to make your own cutting from Dollar Tree rulers.
You can use wood rulers from other places, but each item only costs $1.25 at Dollar Tree. For those using Dollar Tree rulers, remove the measurement labels from the wood.
Line up several rulers until your cutting board is the size you want, with all the holes on one end. Six should be a good size decoration, but you could use less or more.
Attach the pieces with wood glue by applying a line of glue across the long edge of your ruler and pressing it into the one beside it. Repeat the process to form the base shape.
Cut off the rounded ends of two large craft sticks to cover the holes and glue them over the top and bottom edges. Flip the board over and glue a ruler sticking up for a handle.
Ensure that the handle’s hole faces upwards so you can hang your decoration with something like a jute cord. Afterward, customize your new cutting board.
