Easily Remove Coffee Mug Logos For Endless Home Decor Possibilities
By KATE CUSSON
If you’d like to use a coffee mug for your next DIY project but are put off by its branding logo, you’ll be happy to learn you can remove it with just toothpaste and elbow grease.
Apply a bit of toothpaste — paste, not gel — to a ceramic mug, and gently buff the area with a rag. Avoid too much pressure and expect a few attempts before the logo comes off.
The reason toothpaste works is due to the abrasive particles found in these types of products, which — similar to breaking down buildup on your teeth — can help get rid of logos.
