Easily Organize Your Kitchen Cabinets With This Dollar Tree DIY Hack
By CHRISTY RAE AMMONS
This DIY plate rack helps you organize your kitchen by creating additional cabinet space. To start, purchase two toilet plungers and a few packs of wood dowels from Dollar Tree.
You may also need a paint stirrer or scrap wood, glue, a saw, and a drill. Remove the rubber parts from the plunger, saw off the threaded ends, and mark the distance between rungs.
Drill holes for the dowel rods and glue on your extra wood as handles, first ensuring they fit your cabinet. Push the dowel rods into the drilled holes and adjust their height.
Glue the dowels for permanent placement or leave them loose for flexibility. Allow the glue to dry before decorating your rack with spray paint or wood stain to match your kitchen.
