Double Bookshelf Storage Space With A Clever Egg Carton Hack

If you’re doubling up rows of books on your bookshelves because you’ve run out of space, empty egg cartons can act as book risers to lift the books at the back so they're visible.
Simply place an empty egg carton at the back of your bookshelf, and line your books on top of it. Then, add another row of books directly in front of your makeshift book riser.
This splits each shelf into two tiers, doubling your bookcase storage space. Use the method to split only a section of a shelf, or use multiple egg cartons to split entire shelves.
