Does Blasting Baking Sheets With Hydrogen Peroxide & Baking Soda Work?
By RON BAKER
It’s always a struggle to remove baked-on grease from baking sheets. You usually have to resort to harsh chemicals, but consider trying hydrogen peroxide and baking soda instead.
As baking sheets take a lot of abuse, it's impossible to make them look brand new; however, this power-packing pair can help get rid of the grime and make your pans shine again.
Simply mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda into a paste, cover your baking sheet with it, let it soak for 15 minutes, then scrub it vigorously with a scrub brush or Scrub Daddy.
When tested on badly stained restaurant pans, the hydrogen peroxide-baking soda mixture delivered satisfactory results, outperforming Bar Keeper’s Friend and even sandblasting.
