DIY Palm Tree Decor For Your Yard With This Pool Noodle Hack
By A. R. HOPKINS
Palm trees epitomize a sunny beach vacation, but if you don’t have a real one growing in your garden, make your own faux palm tree out of a pool noodle for a relaxed tropical vibe.
You’ll need a decorative bucket or planter, a pool noodle, a rod or broomstick, medium-size rocks, burlap or brown butcher paper, and some artificial palm fronds from Dollar Tree.
Insert the broomstick or rod into the pool noodle’s core, then wrap your faux tree trunk in the burlap or brown paper. Place it in the planter and use the rocks to keep it upright.
Next, hot glue the fronds onto the trunk. To further customize it, add string lights or coconuts by wrapping foam craft balls in coconut plant liner and gluing them to the fronds.
