DIY Affordable Pumpkin Decor With A Clever Pool Noodle Hack
By A. R. HOPKINS
The beginning of autumn marks the arrival of Halloween decorations. Those looking for a new, budget-friendly way to decorate can make DIY pumpkins from Dollar Tree pool noodles.
You'll need an orange pool noodle, a green pool noodle, strong glue, and a sharp utility or craft knife. Each pumpkin requires only small sections of the pool noodle.
Cut three 2-to-3-inch slices of the orange noodle, then cut a slit through two of them. Open each slit to create C shapes and place one C shape on each side of the uncut slice.
Next, cut a small piece of the green noodle to serve as a stem, then glue the pieces in place to complete the pumpkin. Repeat the process until you've used up the orange noodle.
