DIY A Window Well Cover With This Simple Pool Noodle Hack

You can make an ultra-easy, budget-friendly DIY window well cover with just pool noodles and some chicken wire by following TikToker @duhmesticgoddess’ simple demonstration.
In addition to pool noodles and chicken wire, you’ll need wire cutters, a razor blade, and spray paint to customize the cover to suit your exterior decor — all costing under $10.
Spray paint the noodles, then cut a slit down their entire length. Next, lay the chicken wire over the top of your window well and cut it to fit, with some excess to fold over.
Finally, slide the pool noodles over the wire’s edge to make it secure enough to keep out animals and stop it from being blown away yet easy to remove if residents need to exit.
