DIY A Natural Birdhouse With Collected Sticks From Your Yard
By KALEIGH BRILLON
While a vast range of birdhouses is available to purchase, try building a natural birdhouse that will fit right in with your trees, using branches you find around your own yard.
With a nail gun, attach the branches together in an A-frame shape. Create a base and support beams from larger branches, fill gaps with smaller ones, and leave a hole for a door.
Decorate it with natural, bird-safe elements like leaves. When complete, attach a screw hook to the top, or use twine to hang it in a tree or somewhere birds will find comfortable.
Use a nail gun, non-toxic glue, or twine to ensure all structural and decorative elements are sufficiently secure to withstand the elements while hanging from a tree.
