Cleaning expert Kathy Cohoon told House Digest exclusively that all you have to do is spray the shaving cream onto your oven door, spread it, and wait for it dig into the grease.
Let it sit for 20 minutes, then take a soft cloth or sponge and gently scrub. Finally, you can wash away the remaining shaving cream with a damp cloth and let it dry.
Cohoon said surfactants in the shaving cream “reduce surface tension, enabling the cream to reach and remove dirt, while foaming agents help it stick to vertical surfaces longer.”
Using the combined power of surfactants and foaming agents, shaving creams break down stubborn grease and grime on oven doors and make it easy to wipe them clean.
