Built-in Cabinets
Keep laundry supplies or appliances behind closed doors. Save bedroom or linen closet space by also storing bedding, out-of-season clothes, or extra pillows here.
Store laundry supplies in pretty jars, baskets, or boxes on open shelves, with organizers for towels or sheets. Add plants or photos to personalize the space.
Use the space under your laundry sink by enclosing it in a cabinet. Alternatively, cover the space with a curtain or add a shelf to use for storing cleaning materials.
Build simple shelves for storing supplies by securing wood planks to the wall studs with L-brackets, or install a set of shelves in an alcove above your machines.
Install a cabinet with pull-out or tilt-out laundry hampers for storage and laundry sorting. Add wheeled casters on the bottom of the hampers to move them around easily.
