Create A Dreamy Bathroom With Joanna Gaines' Cabinet & Countertop Combo

Home renovation expert and design guru Joanna Gaines introduced a spa-inspired bathroom remodel in Season 3, Episode 15 of HGTV's "Fixer Upper."
Gaines achieved the spa-like feel using concrete countertops paired with white oak cabinets complemented by colorful tile and a large, glass-enclosed shower.
You can replicate this unique design in your own home. The essential elements of this look are the cool gray concrete counters and warm white oak wood cabinets.
If you can, pair this unique aesthetic with patterned bright blue and white bathroom tile as Gaines did. Other unique spa-like additions included one large mirror and French doors.
Although concrete is customizable by color and highly durable, be aware that it's also porous, making it prone to staining and showing marks or imperfections over time.
Gaines recommends getting it stained to help protect it. She also recommends pairing the counters with a gray shower and ensuring the bathroom has ample light.
