Bifold, or folding glass, doors are one option to give owners an unobstructed view of the outdoors from the comfort of their homes. However, bifold doors aren’t for everyone.
Thankfully, there are other choices to consider so you can enjoy your gorgeous backyard space. Classic French patio doors and glass sliding doors are fantastic alternatives.
Multi-paned doors with old-world charm, French doors allow more light to flow into your space with little obstruction while easily pairing with modern decor.
French doors allow a wide opening to free up movement between your interior and exterior spaces and are configurable to open either inside or outside.
Glass sliding doors also pair well with modern designs, with options like minimalist frames. The doors minimize the intrusion into your space while bringing in plenty of light.
Two other alternatives with similar benefits to bifold doors are the less intrusive slide-and-stack glass door and the tilt-and-turn door, which provides great ventilation.
