Hall explains it can be difficult to visualize what your backsplash looks like in the moment. Although you can take photos, the lighting and coloring are not always true to form.
Instead, a sample provides a much more accurate visual. You can order one from the manufacturer or find one in-store if you purchased your backsplash from a commercial retailer.
