Baking Soda Is All You'll Need For A Sparkling Clean Toilet Seat
By DANIELLE RAMOS-SULLIVAN
To obliterate toilet seat stains, especially the ones caused by hard water and urine, you must get to the deeper layers. Baking soda can help you bleach and lift such stains off.
Before tackling the stain, make sure you disinfect the surface of the toilet seat to eliminate any germs and bacteria. Utilize a disinfectant wipe or spray for this purpose.
Next, combine a half cup of water with a quarter cup of baking soda and mix until it forms a thick, paste-like consistency. Then, apply the paste directly to the stain.
Allow the mixture to sit on the stain for 15-20 minutes before using a sponge to rub the paste into the stain in a circular motion. Finally, rinse with warm water.
Repeat this process until the stain has been completely removed before drying your seat with a clean towel. Make sure you wear a pair of gloves throughout the cleaning process.
