Anchor A Resin Storage Shed Without Concrete. Here's How
By NICK POLISHCHUK
It’s simple to secure your resin storage shed to a concrete foundation, but on a gravel or soil base, you’ll need to attach it using cables with various anchors.
Anchors attach one end of the cable to the shed and the other to the ground. However, a resin shed floor provides no foundation runners or exterior anchor points to attach a cable.
One solution is to run a cable between the shed’s roof and beam, attach arrowhead or bullet anchors to it with a thimble loop, and drive them into the ground with a rod and hammer.
You can also use penetrating anchors, which look like giant screws. Thread them through the thimble loops at the cable's ends and drive them into the ground with an impact wrench.
Instead of a cable, you can attach L-brackets to the corners of your shed, then drive penetrator anchors into the ground through the hole in the L-bracket using an impact wrench.
