Connect four sticks to make a square, paint in a color that complements your room, then stagger them over one another and drill or glue them into place.
Connect six popsicle sticks in a hexagon shape to start building this self-standing shelf. Glue the wooden pieces into place, and add as many layers as you want.
Glue four sticks as a base and layer up more sticks to make a box; repeat to make a lid. You'll need about 64 popsicle sticks for every 1 to 1 1/2 inches of box height.
Build sticks in a geometric shape, leaving it hollow enough in the center to fit an LED bulb. Line the inside with parchment paper and put the bulb holder at the base.
