Experience

Teri spent her childhood out in her garden, tending and learning about the various medicinal herbs and flowers she kept. Her early career in plant conservation and research led her to study anthropology at Arizona State University, where her academics led her to learn more about the impact of people on the environment. She has spent the last ten years as a freelance editor and journalist, with bylines at EcoCult and JustHouseplants. She now writes across several platforms focused on climate technology, sustainability, horticulture, and lifestyle.

Education

Teri completed her A.A. in Anthropology at Centralia College in 2019. In 2024, she earned her B.S. in Anthropology, with a Minor in Biological Sciences and a Certificate in Evolutionary Medicine, at Arizona State University.
