Experience
After roles as a teletext editor for major sports channels, Matt began working as a professional writer in the late 1990s. His initial work was published by regional magazines in the UK, along with specialist collecting periodicals. As opportunities for digital work grew, he began his online career writing product descriptions for many diverse categories. His passions lie in sports and lifestyle, and he's worked for many operators in both spheres. He has previewed cricket for Betfair and Unibet, and in 2016, he devised and carried out a marketing campaign for BetVictor's Million Pound Goal promotion. After writing home and garden articles for Wealth of Geeks, Matt joined the House Digest team in March 2025.

Matt's A Levels include English Literature, and he studied Russian at the University of Westminster
