Karlo has worked in the liquidation and auction space for 15 years. He is one of the leading industry executives in the Philippines, having acquired or managed several of the biggest projects and accounts in the country. His substantial client portfolio of asset management contracts for many of the top 1000 corporations in the world included assessment and valuation projects from furniture, kitchen equipment, tooling, vehicles, production machinery, and aircraft. Alongside his corporate role, Karlo started his writing career in 2020 and has written for several online automotive and technology entertainment sites.

Karlo has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Philippine Women's University, finishing among the top 5% of the graduating class.
