For House Digest, Kristy has written extensively about design and DIY projects, with a heavy favor toward upcycling, repurposing, and decorating with vintage and antiques. She has written arts, culture, and lifestyle content for a number of publications and websites, including Worthpoint, Thriftcon, E-How, Cozymeal, and Homes.com. She blogs about writing, art, vintage style, and other miscellany at Dulcetly: Notes On A Bookish Life on Blogspot. A writer and book artist who creates a series of zines, artist's books, and paper goods, she is the author of several collections of poetry. Bowen is currently at work on a memoir that marries two of her favorite pursuits— writing and thrifting.
Education
Kristy holds and MFA in creative writing from Columbia College and an M.A. in English literature from DePaul University.
