Alisha is an avid gardener specializing in container gardening and helping people garden wherever they live, whether it's an apartment or a home with acreage. This love of specialized gardening inspired the creation of The Anywhere Gardener, a new startup in late 2024 that focused on helping people learn to garden anywhere, in any living situation.
As a writer for a large review site, Alisha wrote hundreds of in-depth comparison reviews for camping equipment and gardening supplies that helped consumers choose the best products on the market.
Alisha spent her childhood camping with her family almost every weekend and learned various camping skills at a very young age, including starting a campfire, cooking over open flame, setting up tents properly, and responsible camping. It is a passion that has stuck with her throughout her life.

Alisha has been writing professionally since 1998, covering a broad range of topics from gardening and camping to automotive and cooking hacks. There are few topics or niches she hasn't explored in her 25+ years of writing. Much of her work has involved ghostwriting for websites and businesses across the internet. Her bylined articles can be found on Womens Voices Magazine, Offroad Extreme, Diesel Army, and other online publications. When she's not writing, Alisha enjoys caring for her rescue horses, playing with her little Chiweenie dog, planning DIY projects for the yard, and watching her favorite HGTV shows.
