It was love at first sight for songstress Kylie Minogue with her One Hyde Park flat. Chic and secure, the building sits high on Knightsbridge Street to overlook the immaculate Hyde Park and The Serpentine. Many of the units appear to feature floor-to-ceiling windows with exceptional views of the area. A private superstar, Minogue shared a few photos of her posh pad on Instagram in 2021 (via Hello! magazine), showing images of her gorgeous marble-clad bathroom, an at-home recording studio, an ornate gold-embossed mirror, ubiquitous fresh flowers, and a private outdoor garden.
The lavish 86 apartment development has attracted a host of celebrities like model Naomi Campbell and actress Holly Valance, including its creators, Nick Valance (Holly's husband) and Christian Candy, who own several units between them. Home to billionaires and sheikhs as well, the building comes equipped with temperature-controlled wine cellars, car-cleaning, valet service, and basement parking.
After 11 years, Minogue may be selling her treasured abode upon her transition back home, as it's no doubt she would make a capital gain. According to Evening Standard, former CEO of Dubai-based construction firm Arabtec Holdings, Hasan Ismaik, sold his flat there for £111 million (approximately $135 million) earlier this year. With a strong foundation and echoes of a forthcoming album, the singer can't get the city out of her head, as she has said that she would return to The Old Smoke frequently.
