The Inexpensive IKEA Hack You Need To Stop Bathroom Counter Clutter Before It Starts

Bathroom countertop clutter can seem inevitable if you don't have effective storage solutions on hand, especially in a small bathroom. It simply requires snagging the IKEA TISKEN basket and wrapping jute rope around it. You can use a hot glue gun to keep the rope in place. When you're done, you'll have a stylish DIY storage basket that would work well in a bathroom, especially one with a rustic, boho-chic, or nautical design scheme.

To put your own spin on this DIY, you could use rope in a different color. If you really want to get creative, you could even select rope in multiple colors and create a fun pattern by alternating the colors as you wrap the rope around the basket. When you're done with this IKEA hack, you can place skin care products, toothbrushes, or any other small bathroom essentials inside and stick it on a mirror in your bathroom or place it on a countertop. Just remember that the jute rope is not waterproof, so you will not be able to store the TISKEN basket in the shower after you complete this DIY to declutter your bathroom countertops.

This IKEA hack is so easy that you can complete it in just a few steps. Simply attach the end of your rope onto the outer edge of the basket with glue or a staple gun, and use hot glue to wrap it around the remainder of the basket, working your way down.
