DIY A Romantic Faux Terrarium Using A Dollar Tree Jar And Lots Of Love

Why not think outside of the box when it comes to your Valentine's Day decorations? Flower bouquets and wreaths covered in hearts make adorable decor, but they aren't exactly unique. Rather than opting for predictable pieces, consider creating a DIY romantic faux terrarium using a Dollar Tree jar and lots of love. To create this unexpected Valentine's Day decor, just turn a glass jar upside down, set the jar to the side, and add hearts and faux greenery to the inside of the lid. Place the jar back on top of the lid (ensuring it is still upside down) and you will be left with your very own Valentine's Day themed terrarium.

You can take this DIY to the next level by wrapping a ribbon around the lid and gluing additional detailing onto it, such as a few faux leaves and hearts. The supplies you'll need to pick up from Dollar Tree for this project include the Valentine's Day Glitter Heart Stickers, Crafter's Square Wood Dowels, Floral Garden Ribbon, Artificial Green Foliage Bushes, Floral Garden Reindeer Moss, and Canning Jars with Lids. Additionally, you'll either need foam hearts or a large piece of foam to cut a heart shape out of. You can also add other craft supplies to customize the terrarium however you'd like.

To create this DIY Valentine's Day decor, start out by sticking a few of your Valentine's Day Glitter Heart Stickers onto a piece of cardboard and then cut them out with scissors.
