Wow Guests With Illuminated Plant Decor Made From A Dollar Tree Gift Box

Plants — whether real or fake — can be a great way to add a little decor and color to your home. There are so many unique ways to decorate your home with plants, and this is certainly a great option, especially when you don't have a green thumb. Using a few supplies from your local Dollar Tree and your crafting skills, you can easily create a beautiful illuminated decor to add light and style to your houseplants.

Because this project is customizable, you can also use another type of gift box for a different shape or style. You'll want to purchase E-Circuit Wireless Mountable LED lights with Remote Control, some floral foam, and a few faux bushes or plants. The amount of faux plants you need to purchase depends on the size of your box. For instance, if you want to make a larger rectangular LED planter box, you will need more foam and plants to fill up the space. Finally, grab some E6000 glue, which can be found at a local craft store, hardware store, or online.

Creating this illuminated plant decor box is easy, and the results are sure to wow your guests. Start by taking the gift box and removing the bow. The top of the lid won't be visible, so do not worry if this leaves a blemish. When it comes to decorating the gift box, you can get as creative as you'd like. Otherwise, you could use fabric, construction paper, peel-and-stick wallpaper, paint, bows, ribbon, or other embellishments to decorate the exterior of the box.
