Effortlessly Move Heavy Water Jugs Around The House With An Easy String Hack

Those heavy plastic water jugs are great to have on hand, but they can be a hassle to tote around. Whether you're bringing them into the house after grocery shopping or carrying one with you to quench your thirst throughout the day, the jugs are so weighty that the plastic carrying handle at the top is prone to snapping when you lift it. Thankfully, you can effortlessly move heavy water jugs around the house with an easy string hack. Just tie a thick string around the lid to form a handle, and use it to lift and transport the jugs as needed.

This simple string add-on should make it easier to carry the container because it will not snap like the plastic handle. You can use this hack to simplify bringing groceries inside your home and make it easier to bring the jug with you to the gym or work. The string handle may also eliminate the need to transfer the water to a separate container for easier transport. Once you master the knot-tying method needed for this hack, you can use it to create string handles for other jugs or bottles.

You will need to perform a specific knot-tying technique with your string to create this handle.
