The Cute & Creative Office Organizer You Can DIY Out Of A Common Pantry Staple

Need to give your home office a makeover?  If you've recently finished your favorite can of chips, check out a cool office DIY project that utilizes four empty chip cans, transforming them into an office organizer perfect for your desk or for a children's crafting space! It's just one of the many items you can use to organize your desk. Organizing your desk can be a challenge. Luckily, this DIY is pretty simple to follow. Start by taking four chip cans (Pringles will work) and cutting the bottoms off. Cut the containers to different heights to add variety, or depending on the size of the items you wish to store, you can use food containers with different widths (like an oatmeal container). Paint a wood circular base with whatever color you'd like, hot glue the containers to the wood, and then paint them the same color. If this project is for the kids, you could even let them help with painting to create their own design! Finally, to add some razzle dazzle, hot glue some broken crayons to the edge of the containers, which makes it fun for a kid's craft station. However, if you are using this in your own office, you can omit the crayons. Just ensure you are neat when gluing down the containers to create a seamless finish. Like most DIY's, there are multiple ways to create this project and make it your own! One tactic involves gathering four cans and creating sets of two by stapling them together. Then, staple the two rows together so that they are slightly off and not making a perfect square. This gives the project a little more design interest.
