In her TikTok video, user @sydreel shares a before and after of her fence as well as the specific product she used to complete the project. She adds a Doeworks Expandable Fence Privacy Screen from Amazon to the top of her existing fence, helping to gain some additional height without detracting from the overall look of the space. These fence privacy screens already have a sturdy lattice backing, so if you're just trying to fill in an existing fence, all you need to do is attach them to the surface to create more of a visual barrier.

If you want to add some extra height to your fence like @sydreel shared in the TikTok, however, you need to be a bit more specific with your placement. If you attempt to install the panels by just sitting them on top of the fence, it's likely that they'll just flop over as soon as any wind blows through because there's not enough material to support them. Instead, overlap the panels with your fence by a few inches. This way, the panels will have something to connect to, but you'll still get an additional foot or so of height along the top.
