The Easiest Way To Reset Your Keurig Coffee Maker After Descaling

The first option is to give the machine a deep clean if it's been nearly three to six months (or more) since the last time you cleaned and descaled your Keurig without a drop of vinegar. This will clear the pesky clogs and make your coffee maker last longer. But if the light keeps flashing, simultaneously push the 8 and 10-ounce buttons for three to five seconds.

This is one of the easiest ways to switch off the "DESCALE" light and let the machine do what it does best — brew a delicious cup of coffee. But if this doesn't solve your problem, check if you followed the descaling tips to a T and didn't forgo any important steps. In case you're in the clear and cleaned your coffee maker well, you need to manually reset your Keurig machine to turn off the "DESCALE" light and start brewing a delicious cup of joe. Begin by pressing the "Power" button on your Keurig coffee maker to turn it off. Once it's off, remove the plug from the wall socket and detach the water reservoir.
