These TikTok-Viral IKEA Sheets Are A Must-Have For Valentine's Day
There's nothing better than decorating your home for the holidays. Whether you only decorate for Thanksgiving and Christmas or never miss out on filling your home with hearts on Valentine's Day or four-leaf clovers on St. Patrick's Day, the knickknacks and bright colors make a home more cheery. Even though decorations can be expensive, you can DIY sustainable décor that looks cute and classy or get away with buying them right before the holidays for a great deal. Recently, TikTok went crazy over IKEA's chic heart-patterned duvet sheets, perfect for Valentine's Day. They're a simple white base with hearts all over them; you can choose between red or pink hearts. Plus, the IKEA red heart sheets are on sale for $7.49 from $24.99.
However, even though these Valentine's Day duvet sheets are the season's hit, their only downfall is that they're made for twin beds. IKEA hasn't made or released the duvet cover in queen, full, or king-sized beds. If you have a larger bed and love the viral sheets, you could always use them as a decorative element for your bed. For instance, layer the duvet on the edge of the bed, treating it as a throw blanket. If you want something that covers your entire bed, there are a few alternative options.
Alternatives to IKEA's heart-patterned sheets
IKEA's viral sheets are made of flannel weave, which is 100% cotton, making the sheets extra soft and comfortable to sleep in. If you don't want to wait for extra IKEA to release larger sizes, Pottery Barn has black heart sheets that are also 100% cotton and in full, queen, and king size, however, the downside is there isn't a duvet included — you only get a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases for $159.
A more affordable option is Amazon's heart sheets. The set includes a duvet cover and two pillowcases but no flat or fitted sheet. You can purchase them separately or use standard white sheets. They're on sale for $49 and available in twin, full, queen, and king sizes, and while the hearts are slightly smaller than the IKEA hearts they're still an excellent alternative. Heart pattern sheets will elevate the rest of your Valentine's Day home décor, and they're highly versatile, so you can use them on your bed year-round. If you have a neutral interior bedroom with white or beige walls, the sheets add a statement look to the rest of the room.
