And though it's great for a laundry room, you can also modify this hack by incorporating storage space for your vacuum wherever you need it most.

You can go about this hack any way you like. As demonstrated in the above TikTok, you can make — or hire someone to make — your very own custom vacuum cabinet. However, if a DIY cupboard isn't in your repertoire (or your budget), opt for a premade tall, slim cupboard instead. The GODMORGON cabinet from IKEA has a bright white finish for a fresh look. Though it comes with shelves, these can be removed or adjusted to fit the size of your vacuum. The addition of the shelves means you can store towels and bedding above your vacuum to save even more space.

Alternatively, the ENHET storage combination, also from IKEA, will hide your vacuum behind a door but features open shelves on the other side for display purposes. Depending on whether your vacuum is tall and slim or short and a little bulkier, you may have to customize an existing cabinet to suit your needs. As well as being functional, you want your chosen cabinet to be stylish. 

You can fit a vacuum cabinet into your laundry room in several different ways, including where you place it.
