Thus, before you look into investing in a peninsula because you think it seems chic, remember that it can disrupt the flow of the space.

At first, a peninsula will likely seem exciting, adding a glamorous and expensive touch to the kitchen. The stitched beginning video showed a woman getting rid of her peninsula, saying, "I cannot tell you how much I've hated this stupid kitchen peninsula." Milagros went on to say how she would like to remove hers, too, with commenters encouraging her to do it.

While peninsulas have downsides, don't stress if you already have one in your kitchen. Removal is an option for anyone who hates theirs, but if you don't want to get into DIY mode and try to remove it yourself, consider hiring a professional to take care of it. But if you're not 100% sure you want to remove it, consider working with it and see if it grows on you before paying all that money to eliminate it.

Or, you might just want to dress up the peninsula to make it look more creative, by adding plants, candles, flowers, and other decorations on top of the island. Styling your peninsula can make it feel like something artistic rather than an annoyance.
