Although it may seem like an odd combination, this bathroom staple can do a great job of getting your toilet sparkling clean and free of odors. The best thing about it is how easy it is. 

Especially if you've run out of cleaning products and are in a pinch, this is also a fabulous backup that will rival the results you'd otherwise see. What more could you ask for? Notably, you can deploy this hack in a couple of ways, both of which are incredibly simple. Even if you struggle with cleaning generally, or dread doing it in the first place, you should be able to do this with ease. So, grab your toilet brush and shaving foam, and prepare to be amazed. 

The method for this TikTok hack is relatively simple. Just take your toilet brush and squirt some shaving foam across the bristles, making sure to apply a generous amount on both sides until they're fully covered. You can also use your toilet brush holder to disperse the product evenly throughout the brush. Then, simply use it to spritz up your toilet by giving it a good scrub all around, or store the brush with the shaving foam inside your toilet brush holder. Of course, make sure to be thorough while cleaning with it. Afterward, you can flush to rinse off any leftover residue.

All of this is possible thanks to the stain-removing properties of the shaving cream, which includes key ingredients such as palmitic or stearic acid. These loosen up any unsightly marks, while the fragrance helps with any unpleasant odors. This is also what makes shaving cream good at fighting grease. However, there are some downsides to this hack. 

One is that the foam won't be as good as your regular toilet cleaner, as those kinds of products have been specifically designed for such a task. Second, shaving foam dries up quickly, so you have to use it relatively fast and preferably the same day, or it will be much less effective. This will also make it harder to spread around, so be prepared.
