Step Inside The Rock The Block Stunner With A Massive Price Tag
If you tuned in to watch "Rock the Block" season 3, you know that Egypt Sherrod and her husband Mike Jackson were crowned the winners. However, the other three homes were also stunning, and one of them is back on the market. This home was designed by Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas and is currently listed at $989,900.
While this property was first purchased in September of 2022 for $950,000, the owners have already listed it again after making a few aesthetic changes to both the interior and exterior. The listing agent at ChuckTown Homes, Matt Farrow, says that "The sellers actually never moved into the home. They decided to buy another home elsewhere. They had previously lived out of state on the water and missed that waterfront lifestyle," notes Realtor.
This information is reassuring for potential buyers who may have concerns about the property's quick turnaround. The 3,520 square foot house has six bedrooms and six bathrooms, and two of the most jaw-dropping spaces are the gorgeous kitchen and primary bathroom.
Spacious kitchen, ideal for entertaining
According to the Zillow listing, "The chef's kitchen, along with the adjoining dining room, is perfectly suited for gathering with friends and family." They add that the kitchen has a few luxurious features such as a spacious island with granite countertops, a pot filler above the gas range stove, and stainless steel appliances throughout. This space also has a great mix of both closed cabinets and open shelving, which would allow homeowners to display their most beautiful dishware and hide away their not-so-pretty pieces.
Because the main level has an open floor plan, it's perfect for entertaining guests. Moreover, the living room features french doors that open out onto a porch, which would be able to seat even more company.
When Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas first designed this home, it had a luxurious, southwestern feel, with warm tones of tan and orange as the main accent colors. However, the previous owners decided to change the appearance and gave it a more airy vibe with coastal elements sprinkled throughout such as light blue accents, wicker stools, and a beaded chandelier above the dining table. The homeowners also changed the orange and blue exterior to just blue and white, which better reflects the interior of the home.
Elegant tub and walk-in shower
The primary bedroom is located on the main floor, past a small built-in storage area. Just like the living room, this bedroom also has french doors, which open to a wooden pergola that provides a tropical resort vibe. Above the bed is a unique light fixture with a modern style that could act as an art piece in the space.
However, even as gorgeous as the bedroom is, the primary bathroom is on another level. Entering this space is like walking into a luxurious spa or an expensive hotel room in Las Vegas. While most bathrooms have the tub tucked away into a corner, the designers wanted it to be the focal point, so they placed it front and center. The gorgeously rounded edges of the tub mimic the arched entryway of the cylindrical walk-in shower, making the whole design feel very cohesive. On either side of the shower are two matching couple vanities, which would allow each partner to have their own designated area. Above the tub is a golden light fixture that ties the modern-looking room together.
